Making a Difference Hi...My Name is Donna Drury, I am your networking
Coach, if you choose to become a part of our group of wonderful amazing women. Women’s Business Cincinnati (WBC)
helps solve the success puzzle for women in Cincinnati! It is very simple, we are all about empowering, energizing,
and encouraging business women in the Cincinnati area to envision their success and MAKE
IT HAPPEN! How...we do it through small mastermind groups and networking that creates trust. The WBC
Website & Portal focuses on helping women in business succeed through networking, coaching, tools,
and resources. More importantly, it is all about "Making a Difference"
in the lives of each other...one person at a time. The
symbol for Women's Business Cincinnati is the "Starfish" because of a favorite story of mine that was adapted
from Loren Eisely book "The Star Thrower." It goes like this... "There was a woman who was walking along a sandy
beach where thousands of starfish had been washed up on the shore. She noticed a young girl picking the starfish one by one
and throwing them back into the ocean. The woman observed the girl for a few minutes and then asked what she was doing. The
girl replied that she was returning the starfish to the sea, otherwise they would die. The woman asked how saving a few, when
so many were doomed, would make any difference whatsoever? The girl picked up a starfish and threw it back into the ocean
and said "Made a difference to that one..." The woman left the girl and went home, deep in thought of what
the girl had said. She soon returned to the beach and spent the rest of the day helping the girl throw starfish in to
the sea...." The morale of the story...Come Be a part of Women's Business Cincinnati...Be a Star Thrower!~~~Life is Sweet, Enjoy Each Moment, Donna Drury
