Blanche B. Gaynor

As the owner of Writing Enhancement Services, Blanche Gaynor supports individuals and companies develop succinct and clearly written communications.  Using her business and technical writing, proofreading, and copy editing abilities, Blanche has developed and coordinated every type of written initiative.  Her experience includes the development of:  Web-site content, marketing materials (including TV and print ads), newsletters and e-blasts, personnel policies and procedures manuals, program operator manuals (including manuals for custom-designed manufacturing equipment), proposals and reports (in both traditional and PowerPoint formats), standard operating procedures, and work scopes for plant-wide outages.  She has also developed scripts for introductions to training programs, proofed interactive training videos, and converted the content of personal presentations for use within interactive training videos.  Additionally, Blanche has created an approach to resume development which quickly illuminates a candidate’s talents that result in phone interviews with prospective employers.

Prior to launching Writing Enhancement Services, Blanche held senior management positions at Community Mutual Insurance Company (now Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield); Utilitech, a consulting engineering firm specializing in industrial heating, ventilation and air conditioning; and Skystone Ryan, a fundraising consulting firm.  Throughout her career, Blanche gained a reputation amongst the experts for helping them to clearly express their message while maintaining their personal voice.  Recent clients include:  ActionCOACH, Blue Chip Gourmet, Inc., Cincinnati Public Schools, CoActive Marketing, The Customer Connector, Duke Energy, Michael J. Mooney Attorney-At-Law, Messer Construction, MYCA Training & Solutions, Nexigen Communications, Scheuer Mackin & Breslin, Powers Agency, Purple Trout, Stimulus Worldwide Communications, Vogel, Inc., and Whispering Winds Creations. 

Blanche is a member of eWomenNetwork and serves on the Cincinnati chapter’s Advisory Team.  She is also involved in the creation of the Encyclopedia of Northern Kentucky to be published in 2009.  She has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Thomas More College in Crestview Hills, Kentucky.
